This course is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an AED for the Adult victim. 

What you'll learn:

This CPR AED class provides training for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for employment, regulatory or other requirements. This course can also be taken by anyone that wants to be prepare in the event of an emergency situation. In this course, you will learn how to:
  • recognize when someone needs CPR
  • perform effective chest compressions
  • administer proper breathing techniques
  • recognize a choking victim and administer abdominal thrusts (aka - Heimlich Maneuver)
In addition, you will have hands on training with a Automated External Defibrillator that include:
  • the steps leading up to using an AED
  • how to apply an AED to the victim
  • how to recognize cardiac arrest

Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that is valid for a period of two years from the date of the class.
